Manziel doesn't play in first game with Alouettes

Johnny Manziel, who was acquired by the Montreal Alouettes four days earlier, didn't play Thursday night as Montreal dropped a 44-23 decision to the Edmonton Eskimos. Manziel had just two full days of practice with his new team since the trade.
